Media Centre
SOGC is an expert resource on women’s reproductive health and international women’s health issues. The Society promotes optimal women’s health through leadership, collaboration, education, research and advocacy in the practice of obstetrics and gynaecology. The SOGC membership allows for nationwide access to experts on topics relating to women’s health, reproductive rights, and access to care.
The SOGC produces national clinical guidelines on the practice of obstetrics and gynaecology and positioning statements on important medical issues in this field. These are shared with the media and public to ensure women make informed choices concerning their health.
