Journalism Awards for Excellence in Women's Health Reporting

The SOGC/CFWH Journalism Awards for Excellence in Women's Health Reporting recognizes outstanding reporting on women's health issues appearing in consumer newspapers, magazines and broadcasts across Canada.

Accurate, responsible and insightful communication enables women to make informed health and lifestyle choices. In such, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) and the Canadian Foundation for Women's Health (CFWH) designed this award to highlight journalism's valuable service to the public.

The submission deadline for the 2009 Awards is 6 March 2009.

Please Note:
Trade pieces will not be accepted. Awards will not be given for work primarily directed to medical and allied professions.
