Research Course: Epidemiology
This online course covers basic concepts of epidemiology in order to provide researchers and trainees with an understanding of study design and epidemiologic methods. It provides an overview of the different types of studies, including observational, experimental, meta-analyses, and qualitative studies, highlighting important considerations when designing a study. It also reviews methods for dealing with systematic error and for conducting critical appraisals.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.
