Sonographic Cervical Length in Singleton Pregnancies

Sonographic Cervical Length in Singleton Pregnancies
Preterm birth is the leading cause of perinatal morbidity. Measuring cervical length may help identify patients who are at risk of preterm delivery.  Ultrasonographic techniques are reviewed in the SOGC 2020 Clinical Practice Guideline, Ultrasonographic Cervical Length in Singleton Pregnancies: Natural history, technique and clinical applications. After reviewing the guideline, SOGC members may complete the Guideline Resource Kit which includes an online quiz that will contribute towards continuing medical education credits, and download resources such as a brief summary of steps for transvaginal assessment.

This event is an Accredited Self-Assessment Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. You may claim a maximum of 1.0 hour.
