	Biography Lisa Bishop is Anishinaabe from Wikwemikong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island. She completed a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery at Laurentian University and Masters of Public Health at Lakehead University. She has practiced as a Registered Midwife since 2007, working in Peterborough with Kawartha Community Midwives and Thunder Bay with the Maternity Care Midwives. Her current practice is at Dilico Anishinabek Family Care where she does outreach midwifery to families with complex social backgrounds and/or substance misuse.
