Dr. Amanda Skoll MD
Dr. Amanda Skoll is an Associate Professor in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of British Columbia and a member of the Division Head of Maternal Fetal Medicine at UBC and BC Women's Hospital. She received her medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan, followed by residency training at McGill University and sub-specialty training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. She practiced at the Université de Montréal from 1990 to 2001. In 2001, she moved to Vancouver to join the department at UBC and to practice at BC Women's Hospital.
Her particular clinical and research interests focus on RBC alloimmunisation and premature labour. She is the current president of the Canadian Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine and the Chair of the Specialty Committee for Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
