Ms. Rhonda Van Thournout RN
Rhonda Van Thournout is a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse and the Quality Coordinator for the Lois Hole Hospital for Women, in Edmonton, Alberta, responsible for coordinating Quality Assurance, Patient Safety, and Multidisciplinary activities. She has be a leader in the MORE OB Program since 2006, and received certification in facilitating interdisciplinary teamwork in 2009. In 2011, Rhonda was a leader in the planning and design of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women Simulation Center for Health Learning, also known as the Practice Readiness Center, and is the current Manager of the Center. She is a recognized Patient Safety Trainer for the Patient Safety Education Program-Canada, a TeamSTEPPS facilitator, and Simulation Educator.
