Lauren Rivard is a Perinatal Consultant with the Champlain Maternal Newborn Regional Program; her clinical background is high risk obstetrics and education.

Lauren began her career in obstetrics in 2004 and since then has completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at York University and her Master’s of Science at Queen’s University. She is extensively involved in Fetal Health Surveillance (FHS) Education facilitating education for both learners and Instructors and is currently a Co-Chair of the National FHS Steering Committee of Canada. She is an active member of the SOGC’s Intrapartum FHS Guideline writing committee. Lauren is an ALARM instructor and has an extensive background in designing and facilitating high risk obstetrical and neonatal simulation.
