Dr. Susan McFaul MD
Dr. McFaul is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Ottawa Hospital and a colposcopist at the Women’s Health Centre Colposcopy Clinic. As part of her clinical practice, she also provides colposcopy services in Iqaluit. She has been involved in the development of training and management guidelines for colposcopy and a colposcopy course for residents.
She was appointed the Cervical Screening/Colposcopy Lead for the Ontario Champlain Region in 2013. She collaborates with the Regional Cancer Program and Cancer Care Ontario to improve screening and prevention of cervical cancer including colposcopic diagnosis and management of pre-invasive cervical diseases. She is a member advisory groups and committees related to colposcopy, quality assurance and cervical screening. Dr. McFaul is a past president and member of the Board of the Society of Canadian Colposcopists.
