Dr. Janice Smith Kwon MD
Dr. Janice Kwon is a gynecologic oncologist at UBC and Vancouver General Hospital. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Queen’s University and fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Toronto. She obtained a Masters in Public Health from Harvard and postdoctorate at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She is Director of the Gynecologic Oncology subspecialty training program at UBC, and she serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada, as well as the Committee on Economic Analysis for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group. Her major research interests are endometrial cancer, hereditary cancer syndromes, and cost-effectiveness analyses relating to cancer prevention and treatment.
