Dr Edith Guilbert MD
Dr. Edith Guilbert obtained her medical degree, in 1978, from Laval University, Quebec. She also performed postgraduate studies in Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA in the Department of Population Dynamics, School of Hygiene and Public Health. Dr. Guilbert holds a master degree in Epidemiology from Laval University, as well as a Family Medicine Certificate from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Dr. Guilbert is co-author of several SOGC guidelines on contraception and abortion since 1998. She is an active member of the Board of directors of SOGC where she represents Canadian family physicians. She is also a foundation member of the Contraception Awareness Program of SOGC and of the Contraception & Abortion Research Team of Canada.
