Biography

Dr. Sue Chandra MD

Edmonton AB
Dr. Sue Chandra is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Alberta and a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. She completed undergraduate and OBGYN postgraduate training at Memorial University (MD 1994, FRCSC 2000). She completed a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Dalhousie University in 2002, following which she joined the Dept of Ob Gyn at the University of Alberta. She was the residency Program Director for the Dept of OBGYN University of Alberta from 2005-2011 and continues to be actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education. General research interests include population based studies on perinatal outcomes, and Folic Acid use in pregnancy.
