Biography

Dr. Kara Aleksandra Nerenberg MD

Calgary AB
Dr. Kara Nerenberg is a General Internist working in Obstetric Medicine at The Foothills Medical Centre and a Clinician-Scientist at the University of Calgary. She completed her clinical training at the Universities of Alberta, Toronto and McMaster. She completed her research fellowship at McMaster University including a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology and a CIHR RCT Fellowship.
Dr. Nerenberg’s clinical and research interests are the epidemiology and prevention of chronic diseases in women with pregnancies complicated by preeclampsia, gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes, which was recently supported by a Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada New Investigator Award.
