Dr. Jenna McNaught MD

Dr. McNaught received her medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1999, followed by residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She received her Royal College certification in June 2004, then spent one year as the Contraception, Advice, Research and Education (“C.A.R.E.”) fellow at Queen’s University, gaining expertise in contraception as well as pediatric and adolescent gynecology. During that year she contributed to the SOGC’s award-winning website by writing the monthly e-newsletter, answering “frequently-asked questions”, and helping to update the contraception content. Dr. McNaught was hired by the University of Manitoba as an assistant professor and began clinical practice in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in September 2005. Areas of special interest include: challenging contraception cases as well as pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Since 2008 she has also been the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship Director.
