Biography

Dr. Randy Zettle MD

Brampton ON
Randy M. Zettle, MD, CCFP (EM), LLB, FCFP, joined the firm of Borden & Elliot in 1996 and is presently a member of the Health Law Group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Medicine (with Honours) degree in 1983, and from Osgoode Hall Law School with a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1994. He obtained his Certificate in Family Medicine and Certificate of Special Competence in Emergency Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 1992. He was made a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2004. His professional memberships include the Alpha Omega Alpha Honour Medical Society, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Ontario Medical Association, the Canadian Medical Association, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada and the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario. In addition to working as an associate lawyer at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, he continues to practice part-time as a physician. His legal practice is primarily in the field of civil litigation with particular emphasis on health care law and medical
malpractice.
