Dr. Dumont completed her medical school in French at the University of Sherbrooke followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa and a Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology fellowship at Sick Kids in Toronto. She has been practicing Adult Gynecology at The Ottawa Hospital and Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology at CHEO for the last six years.

Dr. Dumont’s teaching and research interests lie in the field of Simulation training in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG). She developed in 2013 the first ever PAG simulation curriculum. She has published two articles on the topic and has had the opportunity to present her work internationally. She is recognized as a world-wide leader in PAG Simulation. She will be starting the APGO’s Academic Scholars and Leaders program in January 2018.
