Dr. Helena Frecker MD
Dr. Helena Frecker graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 2009 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto in 2014. She went on to do a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital, concurrently with a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality through Queen’s University. She started on staff at Michael Garron Hospital in July 2016 and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Frecker has a strong interest in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, undergraduate and postgraduate clinical and surgical education, minimally invasive surgery, colposcopy, and care of the LGBTQ+ and gender diverse communities. Her research interests are in clinical communication and handover as well as LGBTQ+ care.
