Dr. Helena Frecker MD
Dr. Helena Frecker graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 2009 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto in 2014. She went on to do a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital Toronto, concurrently with a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality through Queen’s University in Kingston. She started on staff at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto in July 2016. Dr. Frecker has a special interest in the care of the LGBTQ and gender diverse communities, and, in addition to her clinical work with gender diverse patients, is involved in education, research, advocacy, and policy development in this area.
