Family Planning in the Setting of a Pandemic

In this "COVID-19 101" module, participants will be able to: reaffirm that a woman’s right to choose should not be compromised during this health crisis, appreciate the risk of increased unwanted pregnancy as access to prescription contraception is impaired, provide tools for the provision of contraception during the COVID19 pandemic, become familiar with emerging evidence regarding miscarriage and teratogenicity conferred by SARS-CoV-2, as well as provide tools to providing safe abortion services during the COVID19 pandemic.


This course is an Accredited Group-Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. You may claim a maximum of 1.0 hour.
