Caring for pregnant patients with COVID-19 infection

In this "COVID-19 101" module, participants will be able to: integrate epidemiology of COVID-19 with physiological changes of pregnancy to adapt treatment strategies accordingly; develop an evidence-based approach to fetal monitoring in setting of COVID-19 disease in pregnancy; and cultivate actionable steps to manage moderate and severe illness and suggest indications for delivery for maternal rescue.


This course is an Accredited Group-Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. You may claim a maximum of 1.0 hour.
