SOGC member Dr. Roland Antaki spoke with CBC News this week about the rebranding of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS).
The new name was published in The Lancet and announced this week at the European Congress of Endocrinology in Prague.
