	Biography Dr. Venu Jain is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. He joined the department in 2007 and works as a specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. His clinical and research interests include fetal therapy, twin pregnancy, placental dysfunction and preeclampsia as well as quality improvement in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He has been involved in several Canadian national clinical practice guidelines as an author or an oversight committee member/reviewer. He is a member of the Guideline Management and Oversight Committee of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. He is also a director of the board of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. He is current president of the Canadian Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Disclosure 1.
