Biography
Jackie Thomas completed her Medical training at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario as well as her Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She then went on to complete her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a staff obstetrician/gynecologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. She is one of the quality leads in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital Her clinical interests include Early pregnancy and Loss care where she started one of the first Canadian Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinics. As part of her quality improvement work she is the Clinical Pathway Chair for Cesarean Delivery. This guideline is published by Enhanced Recovery Canada and has just been endorsed by the SOGC.
