Dr. Radha S. Chari MD
Radha is currently Chair Department of Ob-Gyn University of Alberta, Zone Clinical Department Head for Women’s Health and Interim MFM Division Director in Edmonton. She was born Edmonton Alberta and raised in Swift Current Saskatchewan, completing medical school at the University of Saskatchewan, internship at the University of Western Ontario, residency in Ob-Gyn at the University of Alberta and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. She has been very active with SOGC committees since 2010 and is currently a Co-Chair of the Guideline and Maintenance and Organization Committee (GMOC). She is also involved with clinical teaching at the University of Alberta and is a co-investigator with several medical research teams funded by the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the CIHR, and the NIH. She has also recently completed and Executive Education Course with the Alberta School of Business in 2018. On a personal note, Radha is married and is a mom to 2 sons, 22 and 19 years old.
