Dr. William Ehman MD
Dr. William Ehman has practiced comprehensive Family Medicine in Nanaimo, B.C., since 1978. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of FP, UBC, and responsible for the FP residents’ obstetrical experience at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. He is a consultant with Perinatal Services BC, updates the national Fetal Health Surveillance education program and teaches FHS instructor programs. He is the chair of the Maternity and Newborn Care Program Committee of the CFPC. With the SOGC he is a member of the Family Physicians Advisory Committee, the Guidelines Management, and Oversight Committee and was the Family Physician representative on Council from 2008 to 2012. He was a member of the MOREOB development group and now facilitates the program’s implementation in Canada and the USA. He is responsible for updating the ALARM and MOREOB content on Fetal Surveillance in labour and GBS.
