A new ‘postnatal retreat' has opened in Canada, following a trend in some Asian countries of offering comprehensive care for newborns and their parents for a price.
Dr. Amanda Black says said it's unlikely Canada's public health-care system would ever replicate this model but suggested the business could serve as a starting point for a broader conversation.
