SOGC President Discusses Maternal Mortality Trends in Canada with Think Global Health

SOGC President Dr. Lynn Murphy-Kaulbeck was featured in a new Think Global Health article examining rising maternal mortality rates in Canada and the need for better maternal health data collection and surveillance systems.

The piece explores new findings published in The Lancet Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Women's Health, which show maternal deaths in Canada increased by 18 per cent between 2015 and 2023.
