Biography
Amanda Morris works in Manitoba with a subspecialty in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Before medical school she completed a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at the University of Alberta. She completed her medical school at McMaster University, residency at the University of Manitoba and fellowship in pediatric gynecology in Melbourne, Australia at the Royal Children's Hospital. Her practice now consists of both pediatric/adolescent and adult obstetrics and gynecology. She is the gynecologist for the GDAAY (Gender Dysphoria Assessment and Action for Youth) program that cares for transgendered youth in Winnipeg. Her areas of interest are pediatric and adolescent gynecology, LGBTQ health and international reproductive health. Amanda lives in Winnipeg with her husband and three children and indulges in popular culture, social media and canoeing Canada's beautiful waterways.
