Basic Colposcopy Course 2020
(Offered in English only) This course will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 8:00 am to 4:00pm at University of Ottawa. Transportation will be offer from the Westin to the University.  This course is designed to provide information and hands-on training to healthcare professionals and professionals in training wanting to start performing colposcopies.  We will review HPV infection epidemiology and its role in the development of cervical dysplasia and other preinvasive and invasive lesions. Attendees with learn how to perform a colposcopic exam and how to use different colposcopy instruments. They were learn to identify and manage various cervical, vaginal and vulvar pre invasive lesions. Participants will get practical experience identifying lesions, performing biopsies and LEEPs.
